Research & Developmant Assistant
Job Accountabilities
- Manage development-projects regarding:
New raw materials
New finished products (starting from U-PVC projects)
- Acquire comprehensive skills of analytical tests performed in the quality control area in order to manage non conformities of raw materials and finished products, and claims addressed to raw material suppliers
- Acquire a deep knowledge of Italian, European and US PVC standards (Pharmacopoeia, Food & Toys legislation, Reach, etc.) and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of these standards in order to manage and respond quickly and competently to daily customer requests.
Required Profile
- Degree education in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Chemistry Engineering
- Clear track record of working in a chemical company, ideally in the area of thermoplastic polymers
- Fluent in English
- Excellent team working skills are essential
- Aptitude to interpret and deal with complex data, to utelise data-processing and IT-Systems in general with very high precision and accuracy.
- Aptitude to understand, assimilate and implement EU-directives, -norms, -technical reports, -articles and -analytical methods
- Availability to travel abroad
